Affiliate Disclosure

A plain explanation of how Reel Briefing is funded and what that does and doesn't affect.

How this site earns money

Reel Briefing is funded through affiliate marketing. When a reader clicks through to an operator from this site and signs up, or in some cases places a qualifying deposit, the operator may pay us a commission. This is a standard arrangement across comparison and publishing sites, and it costs the reader nothing extra — the price of signing up, and any offer attached to it, is exactly the same whether you arrive through our link or by typing the operator's address directly.

What commercial relationships can and can't influence

  • Can influence: which operators we're able to feature at all — we can only link to operators that run an affiliate programme we can join — and, at times, which operators are highlighted in a given section.
  • Cannot influence: the licence checks we run, the factual descriptions we write, or the usability scores we assign. No operator sees or approves its write-up before publication, and no payment moves a score up or down.

What we are not

Reel Briefing is not a party to any gambling transaction. We don't take bets, don't process deposits or withdrawals, and don't pay out winnings — every one of those happens directly between you and the operator you choose. Any commission we're paid comes from the operator's own marketing budget, never from a player's balance.

Spotting affiliate links

Outbound links to operators on this site carry standard affiliate tracking (visible in the link's web address) and are marked rel="sponsored" in the page code, in line with search-engine guidance on disclosed affiliate content. Buttons that lead to an operator are always labelled with that operator's name, so what you click is what you get.
